Welcome Back

Welcome Back AJ Students, Families, and Staff!

I am so excited to be your new principal for the upcoming school year! I hope you have enjoyed your summer break and have spent lots of time riding your bike, playing outside, and hopefully enjoying a good book or two.

On behalf of the awesome and dedicated teachers at our school, we are so excited to start this new year and get to know and help our amazing students better! This year you will see a couple of new faces. Sarah Harmon will be teaching third grade, Machelle Matthews will be teaching Kindergarten, Hailey Teuscher will be our new interventionist, and Tiffany Miles will be one of our awesome Title 1 paraprofessionals. We are excited to add these wonderful educators to our team. We hope to see you at our Back-to-School Open house on Tuesday,

August 20th from 2:00-4:00. Then bright and early on August 21st for the First Day School! This year will be full of new experiences, hard work, and a whole lot of fun! See you soon.

AJ Title 1 Information

Title I is the nation's largest federal assistance program for schools, its primary goal being to help every child get a high-quality education and meet academic standards. Title I resources are directed towards students who need them most, helping children be successful in school.

All of Bear Lake's Title I schools operate as a schoolwide program. This means that the Title I resources are used to benefit all children enrolled in the school. To make the most of the resources, each Title I school implements family involvement activities in their school. The leadership team in each building works collaboratively to connect school wide goals to family engagement.
